    My sister's LXI failed safety inspection...

    My sister brought her car in to get inspected, passed emmisions, but failed safety. The car has 206,000 miles on it, so who knows what has been replaced. They told her she needs 1 right outer tie rod end, both front upper balljoints, rear ball joints, and 3 tires. I just ordered 2 front upper control arms, with ball joint in them, both outer tie rod ends, and 2 rear upper control arms, with ball joints in them. I also noticed that she has a broken spring, which they didn't tell her about. Looks like im gonna have some fun with her car lol. Hopefully all goes well.

    Oh yah I just got rotors and pads for my Civic too. That should be easy.

    Stupid safety inspections -lol.
    Good luck getting it back up to spec though; I hope it's not costing her too much.

    Lol, not really a stupid safety inspection. She should have done this stuff LONG ago. The wheels wiggle all around lol. Not safe to drive.

    The front control arms were 50 bucks each, with the ball joints in them.
    The rear control arms were like 25 bucks each with the ball joint in the.
    Tie rod ends were 13.33 each.
    Springs (if she gets them) are about 65 bucks, for the 2 fronts.
    Alignment will be about 65 bucks
    tires will be expensive lol.

    God that was no fun at all. I can't get one of the tie rod ends off, and it's really pissin me off. The other one came off nice and easy. WTF!

    Cool...I didn't realize you are from Columbia..i'm originally from Greenville
    but yeah....they are some shizzy azz cars there...as long as it has 4 wheels and an engine that runs then youre good to go. LOL
