Question a quick painless pcv valve question

i was boored today and was messing around with my engine and so i pulled the pcv valve while the engine was running (i rescently replaced it so it still clicks right) and i noticed at idle lots of air being blown out of the crankcase through the empty pcv valve hole, i revved up the engine and the air flow pretty much stopped, now is that whats supposed to happen (i think it is right?)

Probably has to do with the seals working better at higher rpms... or maybe the extra heat expanded the rings and sealed them better... I dunno realy.

Oil pressure also increases as rpm goes up.
