Yeah, it's a lock type made by Spectre. I found it at AutoZone for $20 but I don't see it in many of them.

OK heres the hood lock setup, I found it. Its not a hairpin or a torsion pin like most people think. Its an actual lock kit not a pin kit

What pins are those? and how did you install them? Thats exatly what I need when I put my hood on (it's whats keeping me from putting it on.)

thought of another question. How'd you get the grill on? I know the original Cf hoods don't have the holes for the bolts that hold the grill on.

yeah, thats pimp. only think i'd suggest is that you paint the peeled/faded area around the rear windows.
