Try shaving the whole thing and relocating the license plate to the rear bumper.

what i did is sense my car is just primered still i just sprayed over the lights too. but i left the 2 rectangles for the reverse lights. and for tail i have 2002 toyota tacoma altezza's that i molded on the bottom of my bumper

Definately the one without the lights in the bumper. You could fabricate reverse lights in the area above or on the side of the license plate pretty easy.

A while back i tried postin for feedback with somethin like this...those back up lights would be the stock reverse lights and i dunno how i would do it, but they would be the only part left from the light on the actual trunk lid...

u can get like the smallest size possible for reverse. they doint need to go that big. some people i know dont even got any
