well.....problem fixed!!

All my ignition-related problems were stemming from a worn-out, stretched timing belt. Slop on the belt caused the distributor to wobble, as any play in the dizzy shaft was amplified ALOT. I put a new timing belt on, and now the car is a CHERRY!! Something to think about if you have noise coming from your dizzy...replace that old belt before it takes out the dizzy!

I'm going to get a rebuilt new one. Do you think there is any real benefit to a Prelude dizzy?>

Great to hear your car works fine now. Did you replace the belt yourself?
