Rock or hard place : What to do?

I'm in sort of a tough situation. I don't know wether to keep my 3rd gen 'lude **but if I do, i have to do a tranny swap, or buy a new auto tranny**, or if i should keep it, and work on my 3rd gen accord, i can get a full turbo set up (from accordcentral), and the engine, body, and (auto)tranny all have 39,000 miles on them. it was owned by some old lady that never drove it. 39,000 miles, and it's an 89. I really dont' know what to do. I want to build a quick car, i can do it on both, but i don't know which to do it to...

    thanks,
    adam

edit : i've posted this exact same mesage on both preludepower.com and here, i want to see what responses i get...lol..
