    High Mileage

    Just out of curiosity, how many miles does everybody have on their 3gee? My '86 has about 184,500 right now and it has never let me down. I wanna hear some really high numbers/

    mine has 267k and i finally had to change the transmission!! hey guys, when u start up your car in the morning how high does the rpm go up to? mine goes up to 3000rpm then about 5-7 minutes it'll go down to normal. is that normal?

    106,000 (55,000 put on by the first owner from 1989-1997. 51,000 put on by the second owner from 1997-2002). So if the trend continues I will be putting on 50,000 miles before I get a new Honda or Acura.

    170,500 on my DX. Starts up beautifully every time (except when it's been sitting over night and forget to pump the gas before I turn the key duh) Runs like a damn dream too.

    about 136k. Only 4k of those are my miles though. And yes, even in the coldest Minnesota winter mornings, it still starts up like nobodys business.

    I bought it with 148,500 miles on it and now it has 151,000 because I drove up to DC from SC for spring break. Still smokin out 85% of the competition on I-26 and I-95 though.

    '82 Accord had somewhere around 320,000 and ran great except for totally shot valve seals, a nice blue cloud followed me everywhere I went...the only reason I don't have it anymore is because of massive rust problems. One of my friends is in the process of putting the engine into an '80 Civic.
