Is ring gear replceable?

If this is your ? then yes it is replaceable. Most ring gears are depends if you have the tools presses to do the work.

Have you actully done that? I called the delear they told me ring gear only come with the toeque converter, anyway I need some help here for my problem, now the starter can't catch the ring gear,I took the starter off found teeth is ok but the ring gear is loose I can move it back and front a quter inch with my fingers,question: should the ring gear be that loose? if not than it must be broken off form it position due to age,is it passible to make it tight wothout taking the tranny out?

And you have an Auto, so yeah you'l have to get the torque converter with it.
And the tranny has to come out so you can view the problem.
