Cheesburger: Yes you can get different type of bar to do this but for the front, Be sure that the strut piece are molded in two parts just like mine or you won't be able to split 'em in two parts to relocate the upper parts on the bottom plate.

Hash_Man_Se_i: Yes the length are exactly the same between 3rd gen and 4th gen Accord. And i used a Vibrant Front Strut Bar and a Ractive rear one. For Carotman's rear strut, it's a no name rear 4th gen Accord brand.

My next try will be the lower tie bar. But i don'T know wich brand are available for this part for accord 90-93 and for a reasonable price. I mean, if i have to do some test, a DC lower Tie Bar will be a lot expensive for this.

I've did my test about the lower Tie Bar. You can buy any 90-97 lower tie bar. It will fit your 3geez without any modification.

My test was did with a Megan Racing accord 94-97 on my Se-I cross-member.

Re: pics of my custom front and rear strut bar as i told ya

this is kinda an old thread but im bringing back cause i bought the front and rear uppers for the 90-97 accord, cut the bracktes and blah blah did everything like is shown in the pictures and the back ones one good, definaly feel a difference but the front one is to short lengh wise and hight wise so just tyring to see if this guy actually ever posted any pictrues of the front one on the car cause mine doesnt fit and im kickin myself in the pants cause i should have checked the length and eveything before i cut and re-welded the brakcets cause i got some buddys with thr 4th gen's so i coulda re-sold it to them but not know, im thinking im might just cut the bar shorter and make a rear lower, so yea anybody have any pics of the 90-97 accord front upper strut bar actually on our cars, thanks

Re: pics of my custom front and rear strut bar as i told ya

I ran into the same problem with mine, but I'm sending it back to get a different bar, the rear one I got was too short, so I have the brakets on my car but no bar.....I'm going to get some chomoly tubing and use that instead....and here I thought I was the only one........

the rear one was perfect, but hte front was a bit short. But not that much. I was able to put 'em on the car. For sure, Best thing is to get some longer bolt or do some larger topshock plate. I am working on the second option now. I'll post some pic of the new one soon. I don't have any pics of the bar on my car too since my car is in the body shop see there .

If guys want to show me which bar you all have, i can do the front plate for everyone for the price of the metal i'll need to buy + ship. It depends on wich bar you have.

Just as the rear lower too, it's a tight fit too. I have removed 3mm at each side of the bar cause it was too large.

pretty much anything with the right length would work, you just have to customize the mounting plates... Me and a friend are going to try this soon as he just bought himself I nice shiney new miller. I'm pretty stoked.

just on a side note, for the rear upper strut bar you dont have to heat and bend it, you can cut and re-weld just like the front plates, i was gonna try bending but when i went to use the oxy torch i ran outta acetelene (spelling?)so i just cut it and re-welded it, works just fine, figured id let some of you guys know just incase you didnt have a source of heat

well, i think what should be best is that you buy one from ebay and make it sent to my home. I'll mod it and send it back to you after. What do you think of that?
