pics of my custom front and rear strut bar as i told ya

This is the package to show you this bar is really an 90-93 bar

Cut the braket from the plate

    to get this part

You'll have to cut with a dremel in the plate to be able to get this one. and weld the plate to get this result

Here's the difference between the 90-93(left) and the 86-89 custom(right)

    The 86-89 over the 90-93

Now, talk about the rear one.
    Here's the 90-93

    and here's the 86-89 finished

The 86-89 over the 90-93 to show you the small difference

So, it's really simple to do this. I'll take some pics on a car soon.

welding is simple. Just take an extension cord and trim the positive lead so theres a few inches of copper showing and make sure you have a Zinsco house panel, rubber mount to be grounded on and dont get caught in the circiut. Im an electricin trust me on this one

For those of you dumb enough to try this DONT. Its a Joke at 2 am. HA HA

Yep it fit perfect for any injected car or weber carburated.
For the welding, if you're not able to weld, some shop can do it for you really cheap. So, that's why i told you that this mods was really simple.

if you do this, the plate will wave. I've tryed this.

The only way to get theses bars to look like stock is to cut to remove the excess of metal and get the form we need.

pretty cool. i know about that thing with the electrical cord. lol. it does basicly the same thing as a welder does, but is useless. my friend has a welder, i'm sure i'll be using it soon. i should just buy one of my own.

Question: why did you cut the bracket from the plate on the front mount? Couldn't the mod be done with the bracket still attached?

nah you have to relocate the bracket. The plate need to be turned a bit.
    You'll see this soon.

This is the reason why you cannot buy any brand for the front bar. I just don't remember if this one is a ractive or a Pilot.

I'll be back on this in a few days.

I have been wanting to try this, Me and Vinny talked about the 4g accord rear bars fitting. I told him that I wanted to try but no welding skills. But fortunatley for me I have some buddies that weld so maybe I will have to try this out. Good job on the pioneering!!! Woot-Woot!

Blazin, not that bad. When i'll get the final touch, i'll see exactly how many times it took me. Maybe i'll produce more than one.

here's 3 new pics. Still haven"t finish the front one cause my car is still at the body shop for his new paints/bodykit custom.

But for now, it looks like this.

    From up to down:
    Carotman's rear strut bar
    Mine rear strut bar
    Mine Front Strut bar

    Compare mine to carot's one

and a small close up of my front strut repainted(same if i will need to grind it again).

What's left is to put the plate on the shock tower and place the bar over to see where i need to weld the braket.

Maybe this post will need to be put in the How-To section?

in fact, 90-97 have the same suspension. So, yeah, it's really possible that the 94-97 will be similar to the 86-89 since the 90-93 are REALLY similar to the 86-89
