    3-8w6, 2-12w6 or 1-10w7

Ive got the chance to sell my 3 8w6s that were supposed to go into the coupe. the wifeys got 1 or the 12w6s in her car know but was planning on putting both of them in eventually when we figure out how much space all the baby stuff is going to take in the trunk.

Im thinking of putting the 1 jl audio 10w7 in the coupe now and selling the 8w6s. either way whatever I chose needs to be powered by a soundstream refernce 1000s or a 644s or a phoenix gold xs2500 or xs4600. Thats what Im planning on running and have hiding in the closet. looking for some input so feel free to chat

    I would do the 2 w6.
    Good surface area.
The w7 is the "wonder" but I wouldn't get that rather than 2 12s.\
    Just my opinion.

personally, a single pair of the 8" w6 drivers would be enough, but that's just me

    I would go with 2 w6.
They are great sounding if matched up with quality boxes.

well Ive already got them all. I just dont know which to put in which car. The 2 12w6;s sound fookin awesome. Went against the spec and put them in a bandpass design box with plexi front and rear. The bos is huge and takes alot of trunk. Sounds killer though. I havent taken it to any SQ competitinos though. The 3 8w6;s Ive had in a few boxes and are tight as a 16 yr old virgin if you know what I mean. dont hit REAL low though. Ive tested then all at my buddys shop. Highest I got was 152 spl on the 8s. Not bad but if I kept them Id make a flase floor and hide the box that way. Ive never built on myself yet and am not sure how it would kill the box design.

The 10w7's sound great. By far worth the money. I was planning either one in each car or bnoth in 1 car. tight and low. Ive got a pair of 13w7's but cant afford a power plant. Since the Zapco 4kw is sold out and is still selling in the 3k range. Itys a little too expensive right now.

    So next question would be
How would a fiberglass trunk wheel well box sound compare to a convensional wood box assuming spec are about the same
