Alllrightey... before the other guys turn on their flamethrowers, JDM stands for Japanese Domestic Market. Basically, they are parts usually only available on the Japanese versions of the Accord (and all other makes/models of Japanese cars). 3g antilock brakes are a JDM part, as is the B20A.

Oh, this should be moved to general or appearance. One of the mods can do this.

If you're looking for JDM parts, your best bet is the marketplace forum or eBay.

Here's an example of a JDM part: https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=35934 Different styling not availabe to the US. Hence they are rare and in demand.

    Hope that clears it up!

Ah newbs. Haha. Yeah, you'll find this term located all over the board being such an exclusive and in-demand title, you'll usually find overpriced, but sometimes worth it, products that are JDM oriented.

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Sabz5150 -> Anti locking brakes was not only JDM, it was available in Europe too. For example my previous Accord had anti locking brakes. Most of the things we consider JDM parts was available in a few other contries besides Japan. Also B20A's.

I think he was just saying that if his model were the JDM model it would have ABS equipped. I don't think he was saying he has the JDM ABS model. His wording was kind of hard to figure out what he was saying.

I know, but anyway you cut it... we Americans got shafted. I'd like to get all the goodies needed for an ABS setup in my 3g but no cars to get the parts off of and I have no clue what parts I need in the first place.

ABS, 2piston front calipers, B20A 160hp version, Power folding mirrors, fixed headlights, aerodeck, and climate control. That all i can remember that is not available on the 3rd gen accords in US. Not all JDM but they are wanted items in the US.
