They are all slow, thats not new or interesting though.

The 3rd gen Accord was the first full production run at the Marysville, Ohio plant. That plant is the first in the US to produce RHD and LHD on the same assembly line.

ummm only honda i know of that frikin' has bad engine vibrations at idle!?!?!? it's frikin' annoying and pisses me off. if you have 5 spd, you don't really feel it cus you release the clutch or have the gear in neutral, but if you have auto you feel the steering wheel vibrate like crazy at idle. worn engine mounts they say? well, even after replacing them you still feel it. like the crank was never balanced from the factory or something. all i can say is, engine swap?

I believe the stock ride height for a 3rd gen Accord is the same as a Mk. III Supra, don't know if you'd call that interesting or not.

the first to have lock one lock all feature.
the first to come out with smpefi injection.
first when you have the driver door opened, and try to lock it won't, prevent from locking keys inside, i guess.

one thing i hate though is every car company had efi, while on the dx/lx was carb.

Are there any other sedans in the North American market with flip up lights?

You guys are _so_ owned. Mine's made in Sayama, Japan. I actually drool over the fact that real Japanese people have designed and built my car. It gives me this warm, fuzzy feeling inside, like when you are in love.

Btw, mine's also taking alot of beating, but it _just_ _won't_ _break_! Got to love the fantastic build quality.

Well you know ur a 3g owner if u use the ebrake and side of the passenger's side seat as a cupholder. I guess thats an interesting fact.

too true. it's actually pretty handy. it's like "well.., since we won't put cupholders in the LX-i's and lower, we'll make it so between the e-brake and seat can be a makeshift cupholder". it's almost a perfect fit

the 3gee and 2gee are the only accord models to ever come in a hatch, 1990 and up ones became more family-like and they were available in wagon form. gotta hand it to the 3gee though, the only 16 yr. old car that still runs very good if well maintained. whenever i drive my 3geez and stop next to an early 90 to late 90's domestic car at a red light, my car sounds way better. hell even some newer domestics sound like crap already.

1st gen was a hatch too!

1st gen to 3rd gen were the only hatches, the fact is that the 3rd gen hatch was the sexiest

I actually found a cup holder laying on the side of the road once, just a small rectangle with 2 cup holders, it fit perfectly between the seats and under the e-brake, that is until someone stole it
