Here are some new updated pics of my SEI. New PCP clear corners and front signals added and eyelids and grill repainted.

i used three 5oz. jars of automotive touch-up paint with my airbrush to paint the eyelids. one is silver, one is factory SEI blue-green, and the other is polyurethane clearcoat. same way i painted my side mirrors in an old post from awhile back. as for the camera, the camera works great. it's a 3.2 megapixel. it's cardomain that's making the pics a bit blurry. dunno why.

Corners don't look too good but the clear turn signals is ok. I'm just saying I liked the stock design but you know maybe when you add some more stuff to the SEi it will look better with it. Its like standing out too much on a stock one. lol.

Looks good, now I just need to see some more people with the clear corners...and get some more ideas....

Where could I get an exact match on my honda paint code? Would the dealer be the only place?

yeah i still have the sedan elijah. still working on it as fast as i can cus i'm moving to a new place beginning of august and i'm not sure if the place i find will have a place for me to work on my car. all it needs now is for the rear bumper to be changed a lil bit, the hood vents cut out, and the TRD celica wing put in.

in my opinion the clears look good on a silver or white car, or dark red, dark green, dark grey, or dark blue cars. as long as you keep it clean and flowing you can pull it off. i think it's better to get the 86-87 clear corners though cus it's more frosted than these 88-89 clear corners and would match up with silver painted eyelids better.

and as for the paint, you can get it in any automotive paint supply store probably alot cheaper than the dealers. just write down your color code and year and model of your car and they can match it up.

they've actually been for sale for a while, its just now they posted pix 'n stuff. i ordered some on the 1st of this month, i'm still waiting for them. i should see them sometime next week. i'm sure i'll be the only persone here in my city to have em though. there's not really any good fixed up accords here in town, most people dont know there's good stuff for our cars. like coil overs, just to show an example. anyway, SE-i's lookin good. hey, finish up the sedan so we can see some nice pix.

yeah guys, they're a bit pricey, but i recommend buying them. maybe if we show our demand and support they would make more stuff for the 3gee. i wouldn't doubt carbon fiber versions will come soon. not to mention clear tails and euro altezza tails.

Personally I don't like the PCP corners. I would prefer to put on my JDM ones, 89 stock ones or the custom clear corners that I make.

It is about fricken time to see a company make stuff for our cars. It pisses me off that they make us customize our stuff and they probably see that we make money and then the big shots come along and finally make something we all have been wanting. I think they would look good on silver or white cars. How many custom sets of taillights do I have to make before they figure out theres a demand? That's what I want to fricken know. They need to wake their asses up and decide whether or not they are going to start making stuff for these cars. B/c this bumper lights thing and clear corners thing is not enough. Are they going to wait 3 or 4 years to make taillights or crap like that?

I'm just ranting.... one of the main reasons why I like my accord is b/c of all of the custom stuff I have done to it. I don't know maybe I just need to sell it and buy a turbo kit for my 94 prelude si. I planned to keep my accord forever since it was my first car but now that companies are finally seeing all of the support for our cars after all of the work that I've done to make mine look nice. People can now just buy the crap instead of taking the time and effort to custom make the stuff. I think that's why I'm kinda upset about this.

i think if companies do start making us stuff it wont be on a large scale. mike, you dont have anything to worry about lol, and if youve done your own work n its been done right than its appreciated...it doesnt matter if you did the work on a 3rd gen or a 5th gen, whats custom is custom.

exactly why im heavily modifying a 3gee sedan instead of a newer one. custom is custom, doesn't matter what car it is. as long as the platform you start with is clean and rust free, it's the perfect canvas to carve out your creation. the cheaper the better, just in case you make mistakes. consider it your guinea pig. but mine seemed to have turned out perfectly with careful planning and researching. i can't wait till they make custom b-series mounts for our cars for as cheap as civic ones (around $150 a least). or even better, a complete h22 swap kit with mounts, hydro conversion, and obd1/obd2 harness and lude ecu conversion. but if they do make cheaper b series mounts, a b20b/vtec would be my motor choice simply cus it's a newer motor than LS and more torque. or better yet, a DART crate b18c1 motor pumping out 279hp bored out to 2.1L like i've seen in the car mags.
