New Spyder Body Kit released for 86-89 Accord

    Hey guys -

We received an email from one of your members, slowazz86carb, and are here to answer any and all questions you may have. If enough people are interested, we can also put together a group purchase on the item. Let's first address a few of the concerns presented in the other thread:

    1) This kit is made specifically for the 86-89 accord. It is not a 4g kit you have to modify to fit the car. The terms and conditions preseneted in our auctions is there just to let people know that the installation of body kits sometimes may require more than just removing the stock one, and slapping the new one on. This typically involves minor shaving/sanding. It does not imply you will have to do major modification to make the kit fit.

    2) The fitment and quality is excellent, and all manufacturing will be done exclusively by Extreme Dimensions (www.extremedimensions.com)

    3) The pictures that were posted online were provided by Extreme Dimensions, and are being used solely as demonstration as to what the final kit will look like. We have posted pictures below of the actual kit on the prototype car, but it will be several more weeks before the kit comes back painted. These are being used only temporarily, and we apologize if the pictures belonged to anyone on tne board. You can contact Extreme Dimensions if you have any problems with their usage.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email us at [email protected] or post to this thread. We look forward to hearing your input!

Hmm, I'm not sure that I really like that, I'd have to see it painted on the car. Very very cool that we're getting aftermarket support though. Can't wait to see the finished product.

What? C'mon this is way better than the front you had before...
Maybe its just me, but I am seriously thinking about getting the front.

It's to square for me, the front of the 3g is squared off but it has rounded corners. That on the other hand is like a wall. I may change my mind when I see a painted version of it, I will hold my judgment until then.

I almost forgot to ask, Is there going to be a Coupe/Hatch/Sedan version? Or just the sedan version? What will the kit be made out of? Any pricing so far?

The front wont matter just the sides and the rear, but those shouldnt be to hard to modify for the hatch guys...

    1. Fronts are all the same
    2. Coupe and Hatch are the Same, Sedan is different
    3. Rear is different for each body style.

    1) The full kit fits the sedan. But I'm told the rear is the same for the coupe, and minor modifications will allow the skirts to fit the 2 door. So it will fit both the sedan and coupe with some small modifciations (please interject if this informatio is unaccurate).

    2) We can make specific sides/rear for the hatch and coupe versions if we can get some cars to do the prototyping on. It will probably take a few days at our warehouse in Irvine, CA (so cal). Please email us if you're interested.

    3) Retail price is $849, and it is available for ordering at www.extremedimensions.com However, we do wholesale to the public through eBay, and will be providing this kit at a lower cost. If enough people are interested, we can set up a group buy which will save everyone a whole lot of cash.

    4) The kit is 100%, hand-laid fiberglass.

    5) If there is sufficient interest in ANY other aero parts, we can create them for you. Of course, we would need a minimum of 10-15 orders, but if you guys can all agree on something, we can do it. Body kits, fenders, hoods, spoilers, trunk lids, etc. Carbon fiber is also an option (www.carbon-creations.com), and anything done in fiberglass, can be also be made in carbon fiber.

if you go to the site (www.extremedimensions.com) the stuff pictured there is completely different than what you show here. the site has a disclaimer that the one shown is modified, but doesn't show the actual piece you buy. my suggestion would be to get a picture of the actual pieces that are shipped for the money cause as it stands now this whole deal is confusing. but the thing pictured on the site is very close to looking decent, the stuff shown here is not that good.

ur right vanilla......look at the sideskirts......we may be stupid for thinking this but from the beginning i have been a little suspicious of this whole deal. hey, creativeauto, tell ya what...take the kit that you would sell me if i wanted one right now, and actually put it on a car, take some pictures, and post them in this thread. you are wanting us to buy something we have never seen, you just give us pictures of cars that we would dream of having and make us question the only pictures that would seem to give some sort of idea of what wed be getting. show us that the kit is bolt on, to do this have the pictures up within a day or two, this shows that you wont have time to mod the damn crap to put on the car. 900 bucks is a lot to everyone on this board we arnt rich people who have money to throw around at things weve never seen, nobody here is going to get ripped off...i hope i speak for everyone.
