    Heater problems

    hey guys my 87 lx accord has aproblem with the heater only being able to work on the high and not on low or medium or medium 2 is there a diagram or a how to on how to fix this problem of mine . tryed the search and nothing came up

    Do you mean the heat is not hot unless you open it up all the way?

    Maybe the valve or the connection to the valve is messed up or the heater core is clogged?

    Or do you mean the fan isn't working?


    If it is just a low heat problem
    Check to make sure you radiator fluid is full...
    And maybe you need to replace the thermostat if that is bad...

    i think he means the heater fan switch. look under the dash from passenger side. you should be able to see the blower, and somewhere around there you will see small resistor box screwed to the plastic.

    ya liek the fan only works when i put it on high . theres hot and cold when i turn it on high but its nothing to do with my rad or my thermostat . its something electrical

    resistor pack, take it out (get a manual on how to take it out, i forget) go to the dealership and get a new one.
