Where the hell can I find a can of paint that matches?

I went to all the local shops and they dont even list my code in there books, So I took my happy ass down to the honda dealer and I thought oh these guys will have it for sure! Wrong! The only place they show that carries my paint code is in Ohio. Im in Ga. That doesnt help me out one bit.

My paint code is b-33mz-3. It is a dark blue with a little green in it, factory color. I just want to get two cans of touch up spray so I can finish my damn project. If anyone knows where I can get some let me know please!!!!

I see mine at autozone all the time, they may not have the paint code, but the name of the color is on the can. Ask for it by name or see if they can order it.

you can always order a can of spray paint to exactly match yours from the honda dealership. i dont remeber how much it was here, something like $5. about the same price as the ones i found at pepboy's. i found almost all of the paint colors the 3gees came in at pepboy's also. they are kind of little cans. i was going to try some when i get a new bumper, just to touch it up.

is the color laural blue metalic? i think thats the color, if so, i believe i saw it there at pepboy's. they had my champagne beige, about 6 cans. about $37 for all 6 of em, i thought about getting them, but i need to try em out before i go wild with them. lol. i was going to paint my spoiler and some other stuff. gotta get the right primer that works good with the paint too.

no its not laural blue, It is a dark blue metallic
I think this particular color is pretty rare. I havent seen but about 2 3rd gens with it (mine and the hatch in the yard.) I tried paint scratch and they have it but I dont think 30 bucks a can is worth it..I will probablly end up waiting forever for this paint to come in from the dealer...

Unless anyone out there can grab me some from somewhere. Again my paint code is B-33MZ-3 Dark Blue Metallic

I gaurentee you that isn't the original paint. I have an 1989 Honda Factory Service Manual and it lists every single Factory Paint Code for every Coupe, Hatchback, and Sedan and that codes isn't one of them.

    -Mike

Sometimes when places paint vehicles they put the paint code for it one the door like it was factory. So that could be what happend to you.

You're not hearing me, it has every paint code for the 1986-1989 Honda Accords. I will scan it if you don't believe me but I think you should realize that if you can't find that code at local shops then you should know that it's not factory.

I swear to god its factory..They had it in the honda dealership book, but it just wasnt in stock. Paintscratch.com lists it as well. Maybe your book is just wrong? or maybe the fact that this is a ?rare? color? I told oyu I havent seen any other than mine and one other hatch in the junk yard.

It probably is a honda color but this book lists all of the paint codes for the 3geez.

His book is strictly for 89 models so you might have a factory color. Find someone with an 86 shop manual and have them check for you.

a custom paint shop may be able to match it, thats what i had to do to match the faded color of the old paint. They just took a light meter out to the car and got the color off of it and mixed it up right htere, a pint for like $25, then i just put it in my sprayer.

That list of paint codes is not complete for all 86-89s, mine is factory and B-35M-3

I agree with LUDI MALI...go to a paint supply shop, they will scope your paint off your car and make you a custom spray can.....I've done it myself.
