    yet another problem!!

    this is retarded, how come my car has no power, ill be in 1st gear doing like 5 mph and the revs will go up to 5-6 wen i push the gas, but wen i let go of the gas it goes bak down, and theres no acceleration atall when im revved that high, its like this in all the gears? u think its the accelorator cable or sumthing? helppppp

    nope, it is your clutch. you need a new clutch. get ready to cash out some money or for some fun work if you are going to do it yourself.

    Check the cable first... I just replaced my cable and it was like I got a new clutch!

    yeah, you can try to adjust your cable but if its slipping that much then you may not be able to avoid getting a new clutch

    damn it is my clutch, how much is this to replace at the shop? hes telling me around 700-900, is this right or am i cheated?

    What the hell! 700-800 bucks! Thats crazy I just put one in my 89 DX and the clutch kit was 125 and I put it in myself Its not hard But you may have to have your flywheel turned too that is like 30 bucks here. Dunno about out there.

    i paid like $500 for a new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, and labor.
