    need help

    ok i have an 88 accord dx and it still has an original motor and i want a motor that will fit in it that has feul injuction and that i can put all kinds of mods on it and it is fairly cheap

    Anything is possible.
    You would be better off converting your current engine to the fuel system off a LXi Accord.

    If you want it fairly cheap, your best bet would probably be to just convert it to EFI. Not a lot of mods available though. Cheap and lots of mods just dont get along on a 3rd gen.

    so what do i need to do this just find an lxi somewhere and get the stuff i need or can i order new parts ? my motor now has like 260,000 miles on it i was going to wait till it blows to put a new one in it but i need to save my money so i can get a newer car so what do you suggest

    just do the efi convertion, drop the lxi block and drop the dx/lx head on the block, get sean's turbo and all nessecary ugrades and youre good to go. or do a b20a swap if you don't have smog issues in your state.

    ok well i did a search of places in my area that could help me and all ive came up with is whole motors would it be better to just completely swap the motors or just the block,or while im at it just find an old prelude motor that will fit ?
    my car and i share the same year of birth i dont know if thats sad or not but, i still like it
