    valve cover paint

when i paint my valve cover i want two colors, blue with red where the lettering, honda symbol, and where the stripes are. how would i go about stopping the paint to hit the area that i already painted so it looks like it does now but different colors. maybe masking tape? im not sure

What your gonna want to do is paint everthing red and then mask off the symbol, letters, and stripes and paint blue over top of everthing. pull off your tape and you'v got blue background and red forground.
