Lightbulb interest in making or buying cowl hoods

i have been kicking the idea around for a while, and decided to pose it to the board, what does everyone thing about small cowl hoods for our cars, like a 2inch cowl, or about 1 3/4 inches above the currect high point in our hoods, everything could look stock except for the larger sweep of the center...i can photoshop it if anyone needs a visual.
these would be good for us guys running civic boxes on our carbs as the extra room would allow for easy clearance without altering the box significantly and without altering hood supports, and would also allow for extra ventilation out of the back which would help everyone with short ram or flipped lids or whatever.

Im just curious who would be interested in buying if they became available and/or who has the ability to maybe fiberglass them...

This will have to be a completely new hood? Will water be a problem?

I think it will need to be bigger. I was thinking 3 inches higher. I wanted a CF hood with a scoop or cowl but since no one wants to be cool like me I guess I will need to custom make yet another part for my car.

im only lookin for like a 2inch cowl... it could be designed so that water wouldnt be a problem in the back by mimicing other cowl hoods for different cars... if anyone is good with fiberglass i would like to talk to you about how this could be done, or if interested, making one for me... pm me if you know how.
