    Thumbs up LED bumper lights

ok, i havent loaded the pix up yet. and since i'm on my lunch break i'll have to get back to doing that much. anyway, i wanted LED lights for the bumper lights since i've got almost everything else of my running lights in LED. so i still need to work on em to look really nice, but they are bright enough to see in the day light. looks cool at night. well, just to give you an idea. i'll post pix and stuff later.

heh, night rider. there was one black accord here where i live that had that done and another maroon one with the little light in the grill. dont know what happened to those 2 cars because i havent seen em in a while. i think i saw one of em in the junk yard all wrecked a while back. anyway, here's some pix of the LED bumper lights. i swear its pretty hard to get the camera to focus on the light LED's emit. i still need to fix them up a little better, but for now they work good and you can actually see them unlike the filament bulbs i had in there before. in daylight you couldnt see them, now there's no problem. all the pix are with the lights on.

i like em because they go on and off very fast unlike regular bulbs. i had made my blinkers fast by using the 1157 bulb and made the dim light contact on it touch. it makes the relay think there's not a bulb there and it'll blink fast due to lower power being taken out. same with the LED's. they dont use much power so i have fast blinkers. now i need the rear blinker lights to be LED to finish up the full LED running lights. althought the bulbs on my trunk that inclue the red tail light, back up light and license plate light aren't LED. the back up lights are halogen though so they are quite bright. i'll probley get to finishing them up right next week. i'll make it so i can still take them off and put them in other lights because i was going to put on an '88-'89 bumper. it has the longer bumper lights. dont know how i'd get inside of those lights because isn't the lense sealed on?
