    Cool Back from paintsville...shes BLUE!!!

okay..after maaco broke 2 sets of windshield washer lights trying to get mine back on there...they just wrote me a check for double and said i could install them..heh..i had the really cool ones with the mini neon tubes..that strobed and glowed..anyways...after messing around with those i finally get the car...they jacked up the trim..so once the paint cures after about 6 weeks im taking it back and they will paint the trim for me..which will be awsome...the difference is unbelievable...not the best paint job ive ever seen..but pretty damn good...here are the pics..ill post the links as well as the only before pic i could find..but it gives you an idea..

WOW! that looks bad ass! i love your front end, how did you get the grill to stay there, im trying to get one too, but i have an 86 front end, which isnt the same but close. those headlights look good, a little too expensive for me to do a conversion like that.

i dunno about the macco you went to but the ones around here sucks,, the painted my car the wrong color...they got over spray and my brand new rims,,ther had to repaint my freinds car 3 times before they fot the right color,,they overspraid on his exhaust now its blue,,,sure it will save you a few dollars ,the paint they use is thin,,so id sand and prime myself before i went,,i learned the hard way

here are the re-hosted pics...thanks Oyvind Ryeng for offering

    what she did look like

....oh and just so you know...when working with maaco you have to remember the dont factor in the cost of prep, body work, or special paint..in that $250 price tag....it was a $150 fee to change the colour completely..door jambs trunk,hood..i got a new hood..mine was pretty messed up..they said as much as it would cost to fix it it would be more expensive than buying a new one...i wanted a carbon fiber one...but i ran out of money...im going for a sleeper anyways..i had esitimated about $900 so i wasnt too shocked when it was almost $1300...but i wanted it cause i want to keep this car for a long time swap in a b20 or b16..new rims.lower it all that...but overall i am very happy with the way it turned out
