do u think that would fit a 3rd gen sedan

I doubt it. It's designed to wrap around the lower sides of the 2nd gen hatch, which is probably considerably narrower than the 3rd gen. Plus it kinda sits on top of the decklid which is sloped at a different angle than the trunk on any sedan.
