I like the odler 240's with the flip up head lights a little more. Maybe if you did an Silva front end swap, but I just don't care for those headlights on that generation.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
Just went with my friend to the track on friday, and he ran a 14.7 in his sr powered 240. That is more like 14.0 at sea level, because our elevation sucks. This is with 216whp, and 213 lb ft on a mustang dyno. It was quite impressive seeing as all he has is an exhaust.

Well, this is a bit delayed, but the red 86 corolla that I talked about above is on the cover of IMPORT RACER magazine for Nov. 2004. Evolution Motorsports has also completed a 2nd F20C swap. The 86 above even has AC after the swap
For anybody near the Sacramento area, here is the contact information: . Let them know that Rich directed you to them, and you heard about the corolla featured in IMPORT RACER.

so i will see you at the NW 240/3geez meet in vancouver right?
The vancouver, wa meet is VERY far away, about 590 miles. Sacramento to LA is closer than that, so I'll have to pass. Sorry guys.

boy do i ever miss my old fastback...
I hate to dig up this old thread, but the Corolla here was also featured in a Hot Version International (Hot Version Vol.74 in Japan). Keiichi Tsuchiya and Manabu Orido drove this car at Willowsprings Raceway in Rosamond, CA.
On the site you can see the video as 021/024 titled: "Hot Version International: American Touge"
The car is listed as the Techno Toy Tuning AE86 Corolla.
