Bought the car about 2 months ago in May. These pictures are from a private NCDA (Nor Cal Drift Association) event at Buttonwillow raceway. It was all stock at this event except for a carbon hood.

I havent forgotten my roots
I have a set of RS*R race springs and KYB AGX shocks waiting to go in, and I plan on eventually adding front and rear strut barsOriginally Posted by zero.counter
. Those, some better tie rods and some stronger sway bars, and that's about all I'm planning on doing with suspension really. Later, when I have a lot of money to burn on this car I'd like to put in a fully adjustable coil-over suspension and a turbo engine.
Either way, I'm more focused on learning to drive the car better. As a good friend of mine tells me, expensive and high performance parts are worthless unless you are able to use them correctly.
Here's a closer picture of the engine bay (this should give it away)
called ae86, that specific one is called a levin, trueno is the one with the pimp pepper pickin pop ups
3geez for life.
my girlfriend has a friend that *had* a 95 that looked like that green one. but with 18"s and I/H/E and a carbon fibre hood.
but he traded it for a 97 white 240sx.
theyr all badass cars. just riding in one is fun
grrr i want an 86...inital d for me

Damn, I could've been there to see your run and maybe even ran myself, but I didn't have enough money for tires and a trip cuz there was a G2IC thing going too.
Anyways, because you're from the Sac area, you should keep your eyes open for a purple/violet AE86 cuz the thing's got a SR20DET in it and the last time I saw it (a year ago) it was constantly running 12.6 a Sac Raceway.
Yea I remember seeing that thing around a while back too. I didn't know it until recently, but he runs Evolution Motorsport here in Sac. Bau (the purple 86 driver) and Jack run the shop, and they did all of the work on that purple 86. They are also the ones who did that S2000 F20C motor swap into the red 86 (they do good work). When I'm ready, I plan on getting my swap done over there too.Originally Posted by Blue Impact
He was also racing at the event with his 86. The 86 was used primarily for drag, but drifting has been getting more and more popular, so he went out that day to learn.
Here's a link to the thread on Club4AG.com, and the rest of the pictures. Courtesy of this guy: homepage.
The cool looking brownish grey S13 240SX with the JDM front (1st pic on the Club 4AG thread) is my buddy Jeff. Unfortunately his car suffered some damage at the Freedom Drift event. The 5th picture down is a shot of the red Corolla with the Honda swap, that guy can drift very well.
And of course the purple 86 Blue Impact was talking about:

Unless you went thru some moding or MOTOREX which for some reason has dissapeared... or I'm using bad/old links... urr
Edit: nevermind I found the link http://www.motorex.net/skyline.html

well, for the price of that skyline, i think you can do better. like something cheaper, faster, more practical. personally, i'd rather find me a nice used ferrari for the price that skyline is going for. i'd rather pay big bucks on a fine Italian car than on something like that. just my thing i guess, considering you can find a skyline for much cheaper than that, maybe not one as nice or new. anyway, i dont have the money for anything new or really anything. lol. i think more pix on that guys auction would be of great value if someone is gonna spend anywhere in the 6 figure range! and more so, proper documentation

Looks like the owner of that S2000 powered 86 Toyota will be featured in the Nov. issue of Import Tuner. That is a very good thing, since Evolution Motorsport will be getting some free advertising.
