    Car overheats frequently!!!

If i let the car sit more than 5 minutes with the engine running and warmed up (Like in a fast food drive through) the car will heat all the way up at about 3 mm's below the Red line on my dash thermometer (or whatever you call it) , is this normal or is there something wrong??? plz help, oh and also, its usually like 90 degrees here all day so just letting you know.

The obvious: thermostat, hoses, bubbling coolant overflow tank, snapped belt on waterpump, etc.

No, and the intake would not make your car overheat, just run shitty with hot air coming in. Check your hoses and temp sensor if need be. Also, make sure that your fans are working and that there is no blockage restricting air. If need be, drain and refill your anti-freeze making sure to bleed any air in the system.

yah, wat zero said in the first post. check your radiator. if you don't know how to check the rest, take it to a shop, definitely a problem. even in 120 degrees weather with short ram, temp should read just under midway line. better get that fixed dude, overheating kills motors, pretty much the motor is shitty as of now and forever. unless it's the thermostat.

at the bottom of rad to the left of car in the sensoe it has a blue wire and a black with2 red stripes, cut those but leave enough so you can put wire back onto sensor f need be.take those wires that went to sensor and run them into cabin to a switch thats it works fine. maybe other ways but thats what i did

ok so cut off the black (With 2 red strips) wire, and put it to the ground on the switch. then take the blue wire and put it in the Accessorie or the Power? which one? or do i have to make a power wire to the battery?
