Electric Window Problem

When i roll my electric window down, i get this really loud popping noise like the teeth are popping out of the gear. But when I roll it up, it does fine. Any thoughts, I am thinking teeth on the motor is prolly about stripped?

The teeth on the regulator could be worn or the plastic rollers for the frame are worn. Try cleaning and lubricating the mechanism and see if it helps. The procedures can be found in the electronic shop manual at http://www.pauldesign.ru/
