pillar removal AND Q-Logic

i have done quite a bit with both of our accords but have never removed any of the pillar covers. Now it is time to plan my system (and gauge pod) install and i need to know how to remove them (A, B, and C pillars, COUPE).
Has anyone ever done any custom molding for speaker fit ('glass on the plastic, bondo etc.)??

from general(or specific) knowledge, which model of Q-logic Kick Panel might fit our 3Geez with minimal cutting and fitting????

they usually just pull right off. Just look for screws, and pull hard enough, but not too hard. Usually held on by clips.

Be careful when pulling the trim it breaks real easy since it is so old. Before you remove the trim pull the door gasket off first it holds on the trim. Then there will be a gap to stick a flathead screw driver in and slowly pry the clips out. I just had to in stall new trim on the a pillars be cause both of them cracked right above the door. I took pictures of the trim and a pillars I will post it later, when I can use the other computer, to give you more of an idea of what the inside of the trim looks like. It is also very hard to pull the trim from between the dash and a pillar b/c it is so close.

Center column
Sorry i have a sedan but the trim is probably close(there is one clip on top and one screw at the bottom that is accessable after you remove the trim on the door sils then the trim on the bottom of the center column and remove the upper seat belt mount be sure to torque the seat belt mount to 23 ft/lb)


A pillar
( The door gasket is not removed in this pic b/c I just ripped the old trim out but it is necessary to remove the gasket to keep from damaging the trim, you can see where I removed it in the pic of the center column)

Trim
( You can see where my old trim broke right after it started to go down the top of the door, well at least now I have something to mold guages to before I put them in the car )

( the tabs that the clips are attached to broke off easily when I tried to remove them a little faster than taking my time)

wow, you bought a new trim piece? how much did that cost? i got one of my trim pieces at the junk yard for like $5. mine was broken by a body shop because they obviously used a screwdriver to get it off. i should have bitched i guess.

The trim pieces were $26 dollars apiece which really isn't that expensive for new trim. My only problem was the new trim doesn't match the old trim, its the same color just a diffrent tint since the new stuff hasn't been in a car for 19 years but I can live with it.
