Mikuni or Slolex? not sure, doesn't look like weber though...

It's a carb though... if it was a TB it wouldn't have the float chamber and you'd see injectors...

ITBS or Individual Throttle Bodies is actually an intake manifold design used in circuit car racing and a lot of TRD modified sports compacts sold in Japan and Europe. What this gives is a much controlled balanced air flow across all the cylinders due to individual throttle plates controlling air intake into the cylinders and yielding optimum air/fuel mixture compositions. The ITB increases reaction time and power. not only Normally aspirated cars run these, numerous forced inducted cars (customized) also run these. They are had to make and are usually custom made using motorcyle (sports bike) throttle bodies because sports bikes always use individual throttle bodies in their efi and carb systems. In the carb version on a bike, it utelizes 4 carbs for a 4cyl and 6 carbs for a 5cyl (honda CBX).

The following pictures is from OpenLoop Motorsports and its for a H22 beast in a 4g accord. In one of the videos they used to have, the car sounded mean as hell. Be prepared to have a loud ass car (with such an intake) to be tremendously noisy in the engine bay

yes they have, but its more like a B16/B18 ITB manifold made to fit ours you could say. But no one has done it so far, and even if they have, they have not come forward. I dont want anyone to say oh i got an ITB and show us their Motorswapped 3g, but a A20 block with a ITB is gonna be what we folks are looking forward to.

I personally am thinking and waiting on my turbo guy to get back to me about making my turbo with an ITB manifold like he has on his GTI, a VW golf with a 20V putting 507whp,

Do know that a lot of guys do use a plenum similar to our stock intake manifold, but use Individual venturies to feed their cylinders. They do this to eliminate the curves in the stock manifold runners. ITBS are not that hard to make, but it takes the know-how, machining skills and most of all careful follow up of the tolerance specs.

Those kits for the B-series engine are $1000-$1500. From what I understand, it give you razor sharp throttle response too. Something like that of a motorcycle.
No projects. Life consumes my time and money.

is there anything to substitute that effect..i mean that of the ITB...i know probably not to the same extent but to increase throttle response..

but someone should try that if htey have the money...i wanna see one on a a20..and not photochopped

yeah, a different intake manifold or the stock manifold which is extruded and honed along with a bigger throttle body like a Mustang Cobra TB or something would give u better throttle response due to increased air flow. But do know that an afterket TB or Intake manifold needs to be port matched and custom fit along to meet emissions and fitment aspects.
