    Engine Q's

    I got some prices on some motors....

    a20a1 550 shiipped to my door thats with i think less than 40,000 miles

    A18a1 359 shipped.... does the accord offer this motor for 86-69? I dont understand. I thought they only have a20a1 and a20A for our cars.

    They said i wont notice much power loss at all. 1.8 litres.

    I really want to stick with the a2o but my dad is footing the bill so, i'm afraid to say anything to him untill i have the facts.

    the a18a will require work to fit its not a bolt in.

    I would stick with the A20A. Not a bad price, really. Esp. including freight...

    How come the a18 isn't a bolt on? what needs to be changed?

    I need to know so that i can tell my dad why i'd rather stick with the a20..........

    The guys at ALpha engines say the intake and exhaust needs to be changed over for the engine to work.What exactly does that mean then? Is this what your talkinga bout funstick?

    the intake manifold wont fit, the motor mounts wont work. then tranny will botls up but the fly wheel won't. is that enough for you .
