Talking bad clutch/ good clutch **PICS**

well, i pulled the tranny apart from the motor and here's what I found:

*GASP!* you say. I said the same thing...
the flywheel was in the same condition as the pressure plate...

Here's the flywheel after resurfacing, the new clutch, and the new pressure plate. Made by exedy. $195 for everything.

oh, this is all from my 91 prelude Si. I just thought everyone here might be interested.

i hope this will be a source of rekindled power. i decided to go with exedy instead of OEM since i'm swapping in the B20A anyway. might as well do it right the first time.

so, on a bad clutch, would there be any loss in power? or would it just be slower to connect?

Mine wouldn't go over 50 when the clutch was bad.

lol, my clutch was fucked up more then that when it was pulled. see, one of those 4 springs had collapsed and fallen out and would poke out into the pressure plate.

So the material in the friction disk is organic, just like the OEM one? And does that pressure plate increase the clamping pressure?

That's from my previous Accord. I think there's some pictures of it somewhere on this board. It was equipped with 4wheel ALB.
