    Jdm B20

The accords in Japan and Europe came with the B series engine (option) Which puts out 160 HP compared to the A20a3 which put 110-120 between model years.
Now this is the kicker. The only drop in B20 for us is the JDM B20 (Japanese Domestic Market) You cannot use the USDM B20 as a drop in.
Understand that you can put practically anything anywear but you will need a deep wallet.
The going price for one of these JDM B20 is about $1000-$1500 and up the only problem right now is the availability of the JDM B20 with Manual Tranny
    Hope this helps.

There are 4 differant B20s, silly Honda causing confusion.
B20A JDM Accord - Strait Swap
B20A US Prelude (88-91) WEird Ass mounts, you gotta do some custom work
B20B CRV 96-98 This is the one that you can swap in with Place Racing Mounts
B20Z CRV 99-01 Essentially the same as the B20B, it has higher compression and differant electronics.

Check out the Engine swap section for JDM Accord B20A info, there is plenty there.

Here is some info on swapping the B20B or B20Z using place mounts.

With the place mounts you can also use a B16a, B16B, B18A, or even the B18C.

Good luck, I hope I confused you a little more.

It's actually more confusing than that, there are 2 engines labeled B20A, both JDM, one for the Accord/2nd gen Prelude and one for the 3rd gen Prelude. They are very similar, but do not interchange because of the mounts.
The USDM Preludes had B20A3 (SOHC) and B20A5 (DOHC and also very similar to the JDM B20A's)
There were other flavors of both motors sold in other parts of the world (B20A2, B20A7 and B20A8) which were also very similar but used different emissions packages.

Bottom line for 3rd gen Accord owners:
    * JDM Accord B20A = relatively easy install and inexpensive, but very difficult to find.
    * B20B/Z = relatively difficult to install and very expensive, but easy to find.
    * Any 3rd gen Prelude flavor of B20 = don't even bother.

I'll also add (once again) that everything you need to know about swapping any B series into the Accord can be found by searching.
