Eastern PA Meet Pictures and Story.

This actually turned into a two day meet, with the first day consisting mainly of trying to get my prelude tranny into the car and the second day consisting of hanging out and having fun.

First some pics of my car before we started working on it Saturday morning:

Picture of the car in progress:

Then we had some standing around trying to figure out why the car wasn't shifting and why it was making a weird grinding noise when we revvved it and we finally came to the conclusion that the clutch is going to need to be replaced:

After rolling the car into the grass to await the arrival of a new clutch Steve went home and the rest of us went back to my house for showers and dinner.

After dinner we got some need for speed and Mario Party 4 on the gamecube:

We were all really starting to get ready for bed around midnight when we realized that the AC wasn't running and we had no light in the bathroom, almost three hours later we thought we had the problem figured out:

After lunch Alex headed home and what was left us went bowling and for dinner and then the meet broke up:

Bloodlust(Mike) was supposed to come up but I think somthing happened to his car and Raunch was supposed to show up as well but I'm not really sure what happened with that. Over all it was a really great meet and I think we had alot of fun. I'm sure more pictures and some embarassing video will be going up shortly.

Edit: you can check out more pictures here:

Ain't that the facking truth. I gotta get them valve seals soon. I lost another 3/4 quart on the way home. Sorry we couldn't get your car going man. Some weird shit happens to that thing. We had fun working on it though and I'm glad I was able to help.

it was fun till it lasted. i think your tranny swap was the easiest i have ever done it. it took me and Steve about 2 minutes to mount the new tranny. we couldn't believe how easy it went on. it sucks that it didn't work. damn, clutches. on the way back my pressure plate gave up on me. it just collapsed. somehow i made it home on slipping clutch. the car is going under surgery tomorrow. a little tip, autozone clutches last 6 month. this is my second clutch, but thank God for lifetime warranty. it doesn't cost me anything to replace it for free.
anyway, it was fun meeting new people. and hang out with old friends. i was hopping to see more new faces, but oh well.

oh i should add, i left my house on saturday at 5am. i didn't go to bed till 4am on sunday. woke up at 8am on sunday (4 hours later). drove home at 4pm. i almost fell asleep behind the wheel. had to pull over and get some energy drink, a snickers bar and gatorade. and it is 9:45pm, saturday, i am going to bed.
the moral of this story, you need some sleep at least 8 hours.

    Good time guys.

Would have liked to have been there maybe the next time around. All in all good times among friends can almost never be beat except for family.

I had a good time. It was a pleasure meeting both Alexes, and I liked the ride in Steve's car. I'll post a DDR video after work today.

Hey guys. Yeah you were right something happened with my car. Basically the day was shot when I had to go to my Dads to help him move and then I went to pick up a picture i got framed and Tara stayed in the car and turned on the AC without the car running (It was probably just blowing hot air so I dont understand why she didnt turn it off) so naturally my battery was dead. And to make things worse, during the hour we were waiting for someone to give us a boost, I chose a parking spot right near a field full of ragweed (for those of you who dont know, I am extremely allergic to the entire ragweed family) so my throat got all junked up and i felt nauseous and sick for the rest of the day.

But anyways, next one u have I will definitely be there, and I was actually hoping to come up to ur house tonite if ur not busy Jim.

I am the DDR king, no not really. I hadn't actually played it in a while till we had the meet. You all need to come to PA for a meet. We're trying to overthrow the CT meet for best meet of the year
