yes it can be done and i know for a fact because my friend bobby has an 86 accord hatchback almost exactly like mine with a blown 89 prelude motor in it, if u give me a lil while i will call him and ask him if he knows what mounts are in it

it can be done with LOTS TONNES OF $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$

Ive heard of it been tried but apparently it was abandoned because of the amount of work required to do it, lots of cutting, tearing apart of engine bay, mounts and even cutting into the firewall.

The 3rd gen prelude motors 88-91 are completely different to the earleir model motors, well they are both 2.0 DOHC b20's but the newew B20A's are designated this time with a number on the end, B20AX unlike the others which are just B20As. Now the differences are the physical design, as the B20A's lean towards the front of the car, while the newer ones, the B20AX (X denotes a numeral) lean back towards the firewall.

So if your friend has a blown one sitting in his HB, its either out of a 2nd gen prelude, 85-87 or otherwise your just BS'ing. Sorry.

trust me, i can be 200% certain that it isn't an 88 B20Ax sitting in your mates accord....unless its just sitting in it not connected to anything...
