Well since I was short on time due to work, I worked on it little by little from thursday night till saturday night. I would say a good 6-7hrs with some minor mishaps inbetween. Probably can do it in less than 3hrs if I were to do it again.Originally Posted by 88accordalltheway
As for stopping, it definitely feels better when I brake HARD. Haven't exactly taken it hard (by hard i mean autocross hard) yet so I have yet to have opinions on the stainless steel lines and the rear disc brakes.
Nope. 88-89 LXi has the same front setup as the 89 SEi. So no upgrade thereOriginally Posted by jonrichert
anyone know where to get cheap oem replacement rotors? Looks like I might need a set.

3geez for life.
Looks great. Makes me want to put mine on. I don't have the money to do them yet though.![]()
No projects. Life consumes my time and money.
Love the rimswhat are they off of? car looks good too btw, nice work on the brake setup
with the rims on they look tiny.
but mad prop's, look's real good!
think i'll invest in some later in the future

Looks good man. I think I need new brakes too. My car wobbles when I hit the brakes when I'm going about 60mph. Someone told me it could be a warped rotor. What do you guys think??
Warped rotors can cause that but your tires may need to be rebalanced also.Originally Posted by bullard123

^And I'm going to leave it that way.
thanks for the comment guys. maybe someday I will upgrade the disc too. ^^
Sorry if this was answered already, but what car are those wheels off of?
1995 GSR rims. Good Luck finding a clean set. Especially since they are polish, there is a clearcoat that is easily oxidized and visible might I add.Originally Posted by 88accordlxcarb
Yeah, that is prolly a warped rotor. If your steering wheel wobbles when stopping, it is the front. If not, should be the back drums/ rotors. (w/e you have)Originally Posted by bullard123
Looks good Busted Blue. Like the rims too.

brakes look awesome! I need to start looking around for a conversion. Besides exhaust, thats my next 'upgrade'. Those wheels look killer too. Now you just need to drop that thing and it'll look perfect.
if you ever come up to around here, you better take those wheels off. They are worth their weight in gold around here and never stay on the same car for long.Originally Posted by Busted_Blue

nxracer, It's lower 1 inch. I scrape on my driveway already so, I don't think I will lower it anymore. I like my stance and the stiffness of the tokico springs. It feels great with the 205/50/15 rubber I wear. Mountain roads feel great with this car, I think the next upgrade will be more suspension parts (ie. rear sway, bushings, strut bar.)
As far as my rims, there are a million of them in the bay area. We are infested with Integras/civics here. Note to myself to never go to oregon. LOL
Thanks for the compliments. I know my car isn't the best of them, but I love it. I also got this static cling from work the other day.
