    EGR HELP

Can someone tell me where the EGR valve is in this pic? Also, how can I test it to see if it is working alright?

    Thanks

Well, looking in the manual, you will need a vacuum pump/gauge first. Then you hook it up to the EGR valve and check for variations in pressure @ certain RPMS and engine speeds.

If you're up for this I'll post all the values and procedure out of the manual.

Here's an illustration of the EGR valve's location in the engine (sorry i cant tell where it is from that pic)

Yeah, I guess that's what it was that I checked. I'm having idle problems and I'm thinking it has to do with the EGR valve. But I'm not sure. I'd like to just remove it if that's possible without hurting my performance or emissions.
