    IF you cant fix'em...Pull'em

yeah so the damn crank shaft pulley wouldnt budge for shit with the impact gun either....so the bitch gets pulled

finally get it on the ground and take the tranny off and grab hold of the ALUMINUM flywheel and then crank the bolt off the pulley with my bitch-be-good stick! AS it was mentioned before by somebody the timing was off because the key wasnt put back in by the Honda shop and it had turned itself damn NEAR 171.36 degrees off of TDC (give or take)

then it was on to car number 2. we ran into a few snaggles which were mainly because its a damn automatic the cable is attached inside the transmission.

but it was nothing a pruning sheer and some dikes couldnt handle ahahaha

Yeah thats Terry giving the "You're Number One!" gesture to the block. gauranteed if you working with heavy equipment something is bound to fall and hit ya....

why God Why mE?!?!?! and in case you are wondering there are now SEVEN 3rd gens in my driveway! lol i should have a bunch of parts left over if anybody wants a lxi swap or something.

and of course while the engine is out. what better time to clean up a bit. some cheap gallon jug of purple power degreaser from walmart and a little sponge seemed to to great. the entire inside of the bay was literally black.

now we are almost there...but not quite yet. still got motor number 3 from this car...

which goes to car number 2 this car...

and the motor from this one will replace this one...

    confused yet?

If i blow that one, I got 5 more to go AHAHAHAHAHA

well I think what has been happening is because the key in the pulley was missing it has been slowly working itself off. which may also explain my times getting slower at the track. but I think a lot of it was because the aluminum flywheel spins much faster, when it bounces off the Rev Limiter, it would skip and jump past the limiter and go back and forth. when the RPMS are that high it revs like a street bike.

You plan on doing a re-build with the pistons, rod and crank journals, etc., or you just doing a motor switch? Looking good, nice supply of parts too.
