    Engine removal?

I plan on pulling my engine out a few times (to work on it, replace clutch or the whole tranny, and eventually replace the whole engine with a rebuilt one).

I'm familiar with 4th gen Accords, so I know what to watch out for there (removing the crank pulley, etc...). Are there any parts on the A20A/BT/BS engines that I would need to keep in mind, or remove? Or does the engine just come out easily? I'm curious about every model engine that came in 3geez, since I plan on yanking my BT and dropping in an A20A.

All of the engines are basically the same. The intake, idle, and emssions systems are different on the 88-89 A20A so either swap over your old parts or make sure you get an older A20 to swap in. I haven't had to pull the engine out myself yet, but the factory service manual doesn't show that any components need to be removed first.
