A20A1 and A3...parts interchange?

I was wondering if the A20a1 and A3 motors (block, head, crank, rods, etc..) are the same other than obviously the intake and injection system. I have the opportunity to get an A20A1 that I was going to rebuild and turbo, then drop in my LXi (A3).
So does anybody know?

A20A1 has lower compression which is good for turbo.

Everything can be swapped between the two motors
