My ecu was blinking a code of 6-the ECT Sensor. Before i went to go buy the part i checked it again and it's not blinking. My ecu is connect correctly because when you turn the key i get a single blink.
Should i still replace my ect sensor? Or was the ecu "mistaken"

the ecu flashes only what it sees, so if you got that code only once it could have been a temporary malfunction

i would do a wiggle test and check wiring.most likely you have an intermitent open short.
how can it be an open short?.....i thought it had to be one or the other
In the end...it doesn't even matter.
