Yeah, but I guarantee you he'll pick that Si up for less than he could an 85 Chevy full-size pickup. This is truck country. Green shit? Ha, I might have to quote that.

man, you sound pathetic, give it a try to fix it yourself, search, ask these guys questions, and i am sure, you will fix it...BTW, that "green shit" is "coolant" or "antifreeze"(same green shit, different names)

If you seen antifreeze all over your car, you better check your engine block to make sure it isn't cracked. Good luck.

A similar thing happened to my car. the coolant hose had been cut and a plastic piece put in between the 2 sections of hose for flushing the system. The plastic piece broke and so the hose wasn't connected together anymore...

yeah i had coolant all over the place ones also. it was a cracked hose, dont know how it happened but check for leaks in your coolant hoses from the radiator.

You can bypass the sensor on the radiator to test the fan... basicly you remove the plug that goes to the sensor and splice or jumper the two wires together... don't splice the sensor side, do it on the harness side, this should turn on the fan when the motor is running... or the ignition key is on. If the fan doesn't turn on and the fuses and relays are good then the fan is dead. or a wire is burnt out.

Its on the trans side, near the base of the radiator... I beleive if you follow the plug for the fan motor you will find the plug for the thermoswitch that contorls the fan motor... you want to bypass the switch not the fan... in this pic you can see the Fan motor plug... and below that you can see the Blue bullet connector connecting the wires that would have connected to the thermo switch.

like mike said. Get the plug on the bottom of the radiator disconnected, its a lil bit hard to reach, and put a wire across the two terminals. My sensor is gone bad and i have no time to replace that as of now. So i just put a wire across it and (if u want u can put a switch like i did) and have it run all the time. If u have an lx, both the fans should turn on, if u have a efi, then only one should turn on. Well for me, it runs all the time and whenever i want. Never overheated or anything. So do that.
