That's what I think too. Whenever I see that, I wonder, "is their bulb on the fritz or did they want it to do that?"

there are two ways to achieve the fast blinker.

    1. splice the front turn signal to the side front turn signal wire and it will think the front bulb is out causing faster blinkers.
    2. buy this relay thing to do it the right way.

    Watever you want man.

it's a great idea and a safer way to get the fast blinker than splicing into wires and $12 is well worth the headache.

I don't like fast blinkers either. They just don't look right. :thumbdown

Eh, mine do that now cause of the LED bulbs I have in. I'm going to have to play with the wiring and a resistor box to figure out how to get it to stop.

you could always just put all LEDs as bulbs like i did. i'd like to get the thing that make em go normal speed.

I like it. That way not only would I be one of the few drivers around here that use a turn signal when changing lanes, but it would actually have a chance to blink a few times BEFORE I change lanes.

How does the pricing compare? Do You have any part numbers for easy reference or is it universal replacement type thing?

    Thanks

i think i'm gonna wire mine up on a switch to switch between normal and bumpers always on/fast blinking. i remember somebody wired the bumper lights up to always be on and not blink fast, but i can't remember how he did it. as far as blinking fast, it depends on my mood. if i'm racing around, then i'd rather have them cuz like slavic said, they'll actually blink before i change lanes.

i put LED lights that were made to be used on things like trailers. guess they are supposed to be side markers for a trailer. anyway, i mounted them inside the old bumper signal housings. and for the corner lights i used LED wedge bulbs that were direct replacements.
