save your money and wait a little longer for an LX-i. you'll be glad you did in the long run.

I agree with NXRacer... LX-i is the way to go unless you have the FI stuff already for the swap.

I'm waiting to find an SE-i. I'm wanting to try out an EFI though too, I'm tired of my carbs.

Definitely not true, maybe it is in your area though. I had many many options to get a 5spd 3g coupe or sedan, still do. I see them for sale a lot in NY. Just wanted an auto at the time cuz I didn't drive stick. Next car will be a 97 accord manual though.

I'd wait for the LX-i though. You'll be happy in the long run.

Look, If you are gonna find a LX-i with auto, take it rather than carbed 5speed, cuz its easier to swap, and i don't think it will cost you more....

About me, i am one of those lucky mothafakas, who owns a 87 Accord LX-i hatchback...with only 130K....for only a $800....

id take a 5spd carb over a auto FI anyday...and it msut be this area..becaus every LX-I is auto. I dont want my car to be the fastest car in the world..i just want to have fun driving again...my lincoln is gonna be for the cruising/nice car....and plus carbs=no rev limit which means im gonna kill it within the first month of having it...which gives me an excuse to swapa FI motor in....or a whole other motor altogether. But who knows..its a 3g and will probably put up with my driving.

if only my old sedan werent so rotted....

carbs are alright when they work right. But when they get out of tune the throttle starts sticking, the idle doesn't work, and it runs like crap. Man get an lxi and you won't have to deal with all the extra carb problems...
