The bottom picture is a Panoz Roadster isn't it?![]()
Your car has ALOT of body roll, I suggest stiffing that up, you will enjoy
Auto-X'ing alot more. My car (the 92) has virtually no body roll and it's a blast to tear up the Auto X.
"Panoz Roadster" thats my call too. yeah, autocrossing is bad ass, i perfer it and road racing to drags/circle track anyday (raced in 2 in my accord)
"Eat, Drink, and be Merry!"
what's your suspension spec? also the camera spec too, hehe....

1991 Honda Integra LS-Special
ahh yes memories-damn I need to get my car back in shape agian! looks good man! what kind of times did you get?
Yeah it's a Panoz.
Stock suspension, DX model, street tires. So yeah of course it handles like shit. But it's 90% driver out there regardless. I'm doing it now for the experience. If I sat around and waited until I was satisfied enough to race, I'd never race. I'm atleast building experience now as the money rolls in for more mods.
BFG tires, full brake upgrades, and some lightening (like vacuum removal).
The body REALLY doesnt have that bad of a roll. There are some cars out there that bone stock (basically what I have) will tilt nearly 45 degrees. My car being lowered looks even closer to the ground, but the angle isnt that bad all things considered.
FYI, that top picture is at an angle, so keep that in mind. And my rear wheel-well has about a finger's gap. The front has 2 fingers. So you can see the tires really havent tucked that far.

Well when I've been matched against drivers with as much experience as myself, I have beat several SVT Focus's (their club came out), some older Datsuns, and most notably, my friend in his '02 GTi.
For a car pushing almost 200hp, Koni adjustables, Eibach springs, F/R Tie Bars, and Kumho's...there is no reason he should lose to a 98hp DX, that doesnt even have a rear sway bar, chopped springs, and blown shocks. Made my day when I beat him by half a second. Especially since he was talking shit.
Here is the topmost picture without the angle, allows the body roll to be viewed easier.

That's pretty brave of you running a 3Geez in street prepared...Here's a pic of my coupe at the autocross; I ran it once in STS while the Integra was having suspension issues sorted out...

There actually havent been much competition in FSP yet. The most is a MG, driven by husband and wife. Unfortunately because of my emissions removal and hi-flow cat, I got thrown in there. I saw no reason to lie about it just so I didnt have to be here. I won first last weekend anyway, so I'm doing fine.
Yeah I would still come here all the time, I just didnt say anything. You have to have a whole separate life just to be active on a forum, and I didnt have the time for it. I had finally got booted out and am living on my own, so a lot of things changed for me.
God I wish they had AutoX here in Reading, or somewhere locally. All they have are 2 ralley courses here per year but one is now taken over by SCCA and require firesuits and a ralley licence which are 2 items that I or my friend can not afford. I have 2 dodge Omni's, (88 race car and 89 parts car) my best friend and I raced with full roll cages and Auto trannys. The only mods are 3" x 6" hole in hood for a WRX hood scoop above the carb, K&N with cut n flipped lid (thanks 3Geez!!!!) a pair of ebay "race" seats and gutted interior.

beautiful pics, i always wanted to do that with my 'cord. I absolutely love that second pic tho, its awesome.
Thanks for all of the compliments guys.
what kind of brake upgrades did you do? Im curious as I want some upgrades to mine too!![]()
Powerslot Rotors
EBC Greens
Brembo Drums (clear-coated)
Powerstop Shoes
New Rear Wheel Cylinders (makes a huge difference if you have old ones, and they are cheap)
VW Dot 4 (free from work)
nice!
what is the life of greens on poweslots? because i've always been hearing it eats rotors.
does dot4 really help more?
Dot 3 and Dot 4 are interchangable, doesnt change anything. That's why I put 'free from work.' I cant comment on the pads/rotors yet, I've only got 800 miles or so on them, and hard miles at that (1 road racing and 3 autox events). I've used Green's before, and I have a few friends that use them currently, and none of us have had problems. If they eat the Powerslot rotors, then it's a rotor problem, not a pad problem.
k thanks for your help, im learning more about brakes now that i'm satisfied with supsension.(for now at least)![]()
