I can not get the top larger bolt out so that I can re fill the trans after i take the bottom out. Any ideas how to get that bolt loose?
I used a socket and breaker bar with a pipe on the end to give me more leverage.

Put the wrench on the head of the bolt and use a hammer to give the wrench a good wack. That should unscrew the bolt. Make sure your wrench is the correct size & fits well otherwise you'll strip the head of the bolt. It's a bitch to remove afterwards.

P.S. If it's a manual transmission. Use synthetic oil (Castrol, Mobil, Redline, Kendall, etc.), you'll have a noticeably smoother shifting transmission.
