just lookin at those numbers, if he does get it be careful with the amp volume or you'll totally annihilate those subs. But as for the goodness of the deal, i've never heard any soundextreme stuff so i don't know how good they are.

do you mean that the amp is too powerful for the subs? if that is the case what would be the best way to run it.

you'd want to run 1 channel to each speaker since its a 4 ohm voice coil, you'd only be doing double the rms and not more. Plus the top 25% of the volume dial probably gives a dirty signal so if you stay under 1/2 you SHOULD be safe.

run the amp at rms or less, since the c10's are 4 ohms, rms or the amp is 250 per channel. however, the sub's peak output is 250 meaning if the amp is pushed pass 250 per channel, you'll damage the sub. if the subs are playin at it's rms level, 125 wattz, that's the best thump youre gonna get. soooo i'd run the amp at maybe 150 or max 180.
i don't think that's a good deal tho, that amp looks crappy and the c10's are crappy as hell. they run for bout 60 bucks each at fry's and don't thump like other kickers. tell your friend to spend a bit more and get his money's worth. oh also tell him to upgrade on thicker wiring, my buddy blew his like yesterday basting his crappy shistem.

its good to have a place like this to ask, cuz, "no one person knows everything, but together everybody knows everything" well atleast according to my grandma in her barely understandable DP accent .

i actually think those speakers are preety good, if you get the at the right price. I just installed those speakers in my friends jeep, and he has them running off of a performance technique 800watt amp, and it sounded really good. I think the price could be alot better, i mean, i got 2 12" box wireing and amp for under 250. You just gotta shop around.

price is way too high... and there are much better subs for that price... and that amp isn't really worth buying at all... i personally would go for a name brand amp and sub...

i'm going wiht a pair of 12" dayton audio qu4tro subs from parts express (like $80 a piece)... for an amp, i'll buy a coustic amp...

just watch out with ebay... as long as the seller has good feedback and you're getting a namebrand item, you should at least be doing pretty good
