i have just accel coil and i had .05 gap. i increased gap to the .062
i think this is great now.
try increasing slowly.

If you're running N/A open the gap about 2 dots wider than factory specs. This will allow the spark to burn a more complete cumbustion.Originally posted by 1988starter

Now that you have a stronger spark, this is one of those "inside" racer tips that will improve performace.
Turbo or Nitrous applications however are in another ball game! We do the opposite!
thanks guys I will try increasing it from .056 to .062.
I'm running my V-power plugs at .054". I did experiments from .049" to up to .064" though and didn't notice anything drastic about the performance.
