3geez dyno meet !! in OR

So, Justin86 drove up from southern oregon and spent the night at NXRacer's house. Matt (86 Accord in CP) also drove up Friday night and we all went to TorqueFreaks in Portland to get Justin's car dynoed. We met up with crwa (chris) whose sweet 3g Accord is for sale for 3350 (shameless plug ).

I have a few vids of the car on the dyno but no way to host them as imagestation is down-Any help would be appreciated. Anyhow, here are some pics of the drive up of NXRacer's new setup as well as the one of crwa's ride and one on the dyno.

    *****EDIT: THE VIDEO!!!! : http://keruh.com/3gz/justin86_dyno.mpg *****

I'll try to post the vids soon too. PS my gti is also for sale if anyone wants it .

Damn, too bad with the video that 4' flame was sweet. Also watching that guy jump back a couple feet was fun.
As the dyno numbers they were what we expected really shitty. With the car running like shit, bad exhaust leak, and bad valves, and running way rich..... 12.77:1 N/A and 10:1 with 50 shot.
Even though the machine shop had told me the head was good enough to be put on, it wasn't. I could tell by how much it laged off the line and couldn't pull any mt. passes in 5th when it use to. So I'm a little pissed at them since I wasted $50 on a new head gasket.
But my numbers were 82hp, 92tq/ with 50 shot 115hp, 157tq........ pretty sad, but at least I know just how shitty it is running now.

Did you get a jpg of the dyno pulls? If you didn't, TorqueFreaks should be able to send you one. If you need someone to host it, let me know.

believe me, we were all pretty disapointed with the dyno results, but that just shows us what we need to do to get some better numbers. The problem justin has been having with that head was a big reason why it put out such poor numbers.

woooohoooo. 115 whp with a 50 shot. I'll admit those are some low numbers probably due to not running right but still, you'll only make up 20 hp.

You're not spraying right off the line so it's pretty much useless.
