    hiya

    ima a newbie here and i had a question to ask you guys.

    um i have a auto 88 accord and i was wondering if it was worth saving for a new paintjob and a few other mods. Mainly im asking this question because my car is auto so yea if i could get some feedback that would be greatly appreciated.

    if you like the car then go for it .... there is nothing wrong with automatics......theres alot of times i wish my cars were auto.... welcome to 3geez man

    Auto has nothing to do with the cars body... paint it if you think that the trouble areas are rust free.

    Trouble areas being
    - Fenders
    - Area aroung gas tank filler
    - Area around gutters
    - Area around windows
    - Anywhere that metal bolts to metal or key areas like shock tower supports, inside door hinges.

    I'm basicly saying you don't want to paint a car and be painting over rust just to look good, then a year later the paint chips off and you have a big hole in the metal.

    yea i no i would sand down all the rust spots first then bondo it prob
